The St. John’s Episcopal Church Market , 211 N. Monroe St., will be buzzing from 8 a.m.-1 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 22. The market is an old-fashioned church bazaar, where St. John’s raises funds for activities of the parish and for local nonprofit organizations. Entrance to the market on Saturday is free for everyone.

There will be a wide selection of homemade crafts and baked goods, pickles, sauces, and jellies, gently-used books, Christmas wreaths and arrangements, tools and sporting goods, live plants, gently-used children’s clothes and toys, plus much more.

A Preview Party will be held from 5:30-8:30 p.m. Friday, Nov. 22. Tickets are $15 in advance, $20 on the night. At the Preview Party you can shop at select booths ahead of time and take part in the Silent Auction.

St. John’s Market has been a tradition at the church since the 1800s and is St. John’s biggest outreach event. Half of the market proceeds go towards community organizations who apply for grants.
