On October 24, 2011, the city of Tallahassee was rocked by a violent home invasion. According to the Tallahassee Police Department, officers responded to a call of shots fired.
When authorities arrived at 2703 Veda Street, they found 31-year-old Yamada Bell and her husband, 31-year-old Jermaine Siplin, deceased from gunshot wounds.
