‘In our memories’: Tallahassee remembers Lori Paige with candlelight vigil

On the evening of Sunday, April 13, roughly 50 people stood beneath the overhang of Adderley Amphitheater for a candlelight vigil and bubble blowing ceremony in memory of Griffin Middle schooler Lori Paige , whose remains were discovered in a remote part of Thomas County, Georgia, last week.

The Tallahassee Police Department revealed the news in a press conference after a nearly two-year search for the missing girl, which ended in the arrest of her father, Andrew Wiley, who is now charged with second-degree murder.

Pastor and neighborhood advocate Rudy Ferguson led the assembled crowd in prayer, saying, “… the way she was found ought to be in our memories for the rest of our lives.”…
