Leon County Commissioners raise alarm over rising cost of taxpayer-funded Blueprint projects

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WCTV) – Some capital county commissioners are raising concerns that taxpayer-funded Blueprint projects are costing taxpayers much more than expected.

Leon County Commissioner David O’Keefe recently released a spreadsheet showing that some projects have risen in cost by more than 100%.

“The citizens are not going to trust us if we want to extend Blueprint to do more projects. And the citizens, I think, should expect every commissioner to ask the questions and demand that we get to see what is happening to our hundred-million-dollar projects,” O’Keefe said…
