Grady County crash causes highway to shut down for repairs

GRADY COUNTY, Ga. (WALB) – The Grady County Sheriff’s Office (GCSO) announced June 7 at about 2 p.m. that a vehicle crash caused Highway 111 North to shut down. Utility crews are making repairs, GCSO said.

The damage is on Highway 111 North at Woodridge Lane, GCSO said. The sheriff’s office did not specify what repairs need to be made, but it appears that power lines are blocking the roadway.

GCSO suggested that drivers use alternate routes if traveling through the area. They said to take Long Branch Church Road to Highway 188, then Woodland Road to Richter Road back to Highway 111 North…
