Deion Sanders Loses Staff Member to Florida A&M

Florida A&M has added a key member to their athletic staff. Maurice “Mo” Sims became the Rattlers associate athletic director for sports performance and wellness, according to sources.

Sims makes his way to Tallahassee after serving on Deion Sanders’ staff at Colorado as the strength and conditioning coach. The longtime coach has been with Coach Prime since 2022 at Jackson State. He won a national championship with Georgia in 2021 before going to JSU. He was also at the University of North Carolina, Army, Indiana, and North Carolina A&T over the past 14 years.

Sanders and the Buffaloes are coming off a 9-4 season, which ended with a 36-14 loss to BYU. The Hall-of-Famer has posted a 13-12 record at Colorado since leaving Jackson State. Coach Prime is also winless in all postseason appearances as a head coach…
