TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WCTV) – Sixteen “previously deported aliens,” seven of whom were located in the Big Bend area, have been indicted by a federal grand jury for allegedly reentering the U.S. illegally, according to the Northern District of Florida U.S. Attorney’s Office.
Six of the individuals were located in Tallahassee last month during a large-scale raid at a construction site along Gaines Street, the attorney’s office confirmed Wednesday. That operation was reportedly linked to a Homeland Security criminal investigation.
