$31M North Monroe Gateway project aims to beautify roadway, bring in new business

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WCTV) – $31 million is being invested in public infrastructure along North Monroe Street to improve the major entryway into Tallahassee.

Leon County Commissioner Rick Minor said this development is critical, with the roadway being one of the most traveled points of entry into the capital city.

“We have a lot more work to do on North Monroe, but when you see the number one corridor that’s thriving that has new construction, new business activity, that’s a sign that your community is thriving,” Minor said. “So, it’s really important for us to help North Monroe continue to go in the right direction.”…
