TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WCTV) – The Tallahassee Animal Services Center is full and is waiving all adoption fees this weekend as part of Petco Love’s Florida Mega Pet Adoption event.
More than 50 shelters and rescues across the state are participating with the goal of helping 2000 animals get adopted in the next three days, starting Friday June 27 through Sunday, June 29.
“All adoption fees are waived and that’s including the spay/neuter, their vaccines, a sample bag of food, a microchip … so that’s including everything,” Assistant Director Grayson Walters said as she held a wiggly puppy named Porkchop.
