This year the Fourth of July lands on a Friday, with the State of Florida gifting an extra day off on July 3 for a four-day weekend for many in the capital city! Can you say KA-BOOM?

Tom Brown Park is the place to be for the best view of fireworks in Tallahassee. Hilltop locations near the park can also provide a good view. A shuttle runs from Governor’s Square to the park on Easterwood Drive.

Folks headed for the coast can take in an array of fireworks for 4-days of Independence Day festivities at Forgotten Coast celebrations starting on July 1 in Eastpoint. Stay safe and enjoy a long weekend of festivities…
