Champs Chance out of time, options after zoning battle with Gadsden County

QUINCY, Fla. (WCTV) – The only animal rescue facility in Gadsden County is being forced to shut down operations after a lengthy zoning violation battle with county officials.

Champs Chance owner Alicia Bopp started the rescue three years ago, a move she saw as filling a vital need for her community.

But after Circuit Judge David Frank affirmed a ruling from a special magistrate last week that upheld a county code violation order, Bopp will now need to dramatically change her operations…
