It hadn’t been the best weekend for FSU in terms of linebacker recruiting. The Seminoles lost out to Colorado on top target Rodney Colton Jr., and seem to be fading in the recruitment for DQ Forkpa.
But not all the news was bad, as three-star in-state linebacker Karon Maycock reassured the FSU staff that he was a solid member of the 2026 recruiting class.

If there was one member of the class that Seminole fans seemed to be worried about, it was the 6-foot-1, 200-pounder from Miami Central High School. He made a verbal pledge to FSU back in February, but made it clear that he was going to take some official visits…
