TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WCTV) – Leon County Schools said it was told on Tuesday that the Florida Department of Education shorted them half a million dollars in its 21st Century grant, impacting its after-school programs.
The ten schools served through the grant are seeing a $250,000 impact. United Way serves four others and now faces a $260,000 cut.
