TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WCTV) – First Commerce Credit Union has raised more than $10,000 to support Humane Societies across the Big Bend and South Georgia.
The fundraiser brought in a total of $10,500, with nearly $2,600 benefiting the Leon County Humane Society. The Thomasville Humane Society also received donations totaling just about $1,800 for its organization.
The Humane Society of Valdosta and the Lowndes County Humane Society saw a total of $1,300 in those funds.
