The Florida State Seminoles got a big boost to their 2026 recruiting class in June when four-star wide receiver Brandon Bennett committed to them.
Bennett attends American Heritage High School in Fort Lauderdale and is the No. 38 recruit in Florida, per 247Sports composite rankings. He is also the No. 46 wide receiver recruit in the country and the No. 274 overall recruit in the nation.
Despite being committed to the Seminoles for over two months, multiple schools continue to push for Bennett, including the SEC’s Florida Gators. However, according to Rivals’ Marcus Benjamin, Bennett is locked in with the Seminoles and loves his relationship with the program.
“Florida, Georgia, and Miami are still in contact with Bennett, hoping he will reconsider his commitment to the Seminoles, but he has no plans to visit other schools. Bennett does plan on being in Tallahassee for FSU’s week one tilt versus Alabama,” Benjamin wrote…
