The Tallahassee City Commission is scheduled to host its first budget hearing in Sept. 3 when commissioners will vote on a scaled back fire service fee hike, which still amounts to a nearly 10% increase.
For the last few months, the relationship between Leon County and the city have been strained over the fee.
