For 110 years, the FSView & Florida Flambeau has covered an wide range of topics that have informed both FSU students and the broader community. In that time, the Arts & Culture section of the newspaper, also called “Arts & Life” at some points, has developed a special relationship with the local creative community in Tallahassee.
The relationship between the FSView and the local art community differs from traditional news in the area because its reporters are students at Florida State University (FSU). Many Arts & Culture staff credit writing for the section with introducing them to all the hidden gems in Tallahassee.
