FSU Board of Trustees discuss safety measures on campus after deadly shooting

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WCTV) – The Florida State University Board of Trustees heard an update on Friday about safety measures implemented on campus since the deadly April shooting.

A total of 330 lockdown buttons and 290 panic buttons have been installed in classrooms across campus.

The board also heard from Lori Alhadeff, the head of a nonprofit called Make Our Schools Safe, which just donated a quarter million dollars to improve safety at FSU…
