Tallahassee looking to acquire land to finish FAMU Way

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WCTV) – The city of Tallahassee filed a lawsuit on August 20 to obtain land for “improvements of traffic in and around FAMU Way Extension and South Adams Street,” according to court records.

The city is looking to acquire two parcels of land worth more than $200,000 to finish FAMU Way.

If the land were acquired, the city is looking to widen the roadway with new traffic lanes, more turn lanes, sidewalks, crosswalks and more, court records show…
