Memorial ‘Ride to Remember’ honors the sacrifices, lives lost on 9/11

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WCTV) – Hundreds of motorcycle riders participated in the annual Ride to Remember on Sunday, honoring the lives lost on September 11, 2001.

The ride began at the 9/11 memorial on Easterwood Drive in Tallahassee, where part of a steel beam from the World Trade Center sits.

Michael Terhune helped create the memorial and has been organizing memorial rides since 2002. He said it’s important to keep these annual remembrance traditions alive…
