Man pleads guilty to illegal firearm possession, faces 25 years in prison

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (CBS12) — A man has pleaded guilty in a federal court to possessing a firearm and illegal possession of a machine gun.

According to the United Attorney’s Office, Anthony Lamorris Davis was a passenger in a car when it was stopped by the Leon County Sheriff’s Office on July 21, 2024. The attorney’s office says under Davis’s seat, deputies found a stolen Glock 9-millimeter pistol that had a machine gun conversion attached and an extended magazine.
