CRAWFORDVILLE, FL – Oakmens Country Market is preparing to open its doors at 5 Shadeville Rd, Crawfordville, FL 32327 this November, bringing a mix of farm-to-table dining and a country-style retail market to the community.
Owned and operated by brothers Zacherie Oaks and Jesse Deadmon, the business will feature both a restaurant and a market that highlights goods from local farmers and small vendors across Wakulla County, Tallahassee, and surrounding areas. Oaks told Business Debut that they are currently targeting November 4th, 2025, for their grand opening, with plans to be fully operational before the end of the year.
A Farm-to-Table Restaurant Experience
With a greater connection to local sourcing, the other half of Oakmens Country Market will function as a farm-to-table restaurant with a concept similar to Cracker Barrel. At opening, the menu will start simple with cold-cut sandwiches, subs, soups, and salads. Options will include Italian subs, turkey clubs, French onion soup, creamy tomato soup, and loaded baked potato soup.
By January 2026, the restaurant intends to expand its menu to include Philly cheesesteaks, chicken sandwiches, and steak burgers. It will also include grab-and-go choices, such as boxed soups, salads, breads, and sandwiches, for patrons who wish to enjoy fresh, home-style meals that are convenient to take with them and share with their family.
A Blend of Old-School and Modern Country Market
Oakmens Country Market draws inspiration from the old-fashioned general stores of the 1990s, but with a modern twist. The retail side of the business will feature kitchenware, bath goods, household products, personal care items, fresh fruits, and vegetables, all sourced from local artisans and farmers…
