FSU legend is forced to change his tune on the Hurricanes after win over Seminoles

​Danny Kanell has been trolling Miami for a hot minute on his social media, but the former FSU quarterback was at Doak Campbell Stadium on Saturday night and got to witness the Hurricanes up close and personal.

And, after the ‘Canes left Tallahassee with a 28-22 win, Kanell had to eat a little bit of crow and admit he was wrong about Carson Beck and Miami.

Kanell later went on CBS Sports HQ to go in further detail about what he saw from Miami that made him change his tune.

“Miami punched their ticket to the college football playoff tonight. The biggest part of their schedule was early. They made it through unscathed. They’ve got a game to play with, and they’re going to make the ACC title [game]. They’re a lock to get in the playoffs.”Former FSU QB Danny Kanell

There’s no one left on the Hurricanes schedule that’s ranked and the FPI will probably have them double-digit favorites in each game for the rest of the way. Just hitting the 11-win mark will be enough to get in the playoffs, but MIami wants more than that. The Hurricanes want an ACC title, an undefeated season, a first-round bye…all of it.
