New plans for TPD headquarters on track, police chief says

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WCTV) – Plans to move Tallahassee’s Police Station from Seventh Street to Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd is still on track, according to the Chief of Police.

Right now, construction is set to finish up in December of next year.

The project was delayed one year, and the price went up by at least $80 million. But the good news is that Chief Lawrence Revel said the new price is locked in, and the new substantial completion date is on track…
