FSU FOOTBALL STRUGGLES
Florida State football lost to Stanford on Saturday by a score of 20-13 on the road. This was an embarrassing result that the fan base was frustrated about the standard was not being met.
This is understandable, as the Seminoles have been on the verge of having four losing seasons over the last six years. That is unheard of at a place like Florida State. This has caused individuals to believe that head football coach Mike Norvell could be fired.
This is not a situation where I am advocating for him to be relieved of his duties, but he knows that this is not the result that should be happening in Tallahassee. The administration mentioned on Monday that they are fully committed to helping Norvell and the 2025 Seminoles strongly rebound in the coming weeks.
PRIME TIME COMING HOME?
There isn’t a guarantee that Florida State can rebound. They have Wake Forest coming to town after this bye week, and then go on the road to face Clemson in the following game. This could be a difficult stretch for a squad that is 1-11 in its last 12 ACC games…
