FSU FOOTBALL WINS
Florida State did something that it hadn’t done in over 400 days, as the Seminoles won a conference game. I never envisioned myself saying that statement, as Florida State is a proud program that has accomplished conference and national championships.
The Seminoles defeated Wake Forest on Saturday night by a score of 42-7 on Homecoming night in Tallahassee. The fan base had been through a roller coaster ride, with beating Alabama in the season opener then eventually losing four games in a row.
This is not something that the Florida State faithful wanted to see after they suffered through a 2-10 season last year. Some of the fan base has checked out after the losses (it happens), but the individuals who were in Doak Campbell Stadium on Saturday showed their support.
