This veteran back is someone who finally got his chance to shine

Florida State football finally got its first conference victory since September 21, 2024. What a roller coaster ride that it has been throughout the last 404 days. However, it is nice to see the program still battling through the highest level of adversity.

This isn’t a situation where I like to discuss moral victories, but they could have easily packed in like the Clemson Tigers (see ya next week, Dabo). However, head football coach Mike Norvell and his squad fought through the boo-fest in Tallahassee the day after Halloween.

Florida State defeated Wake Forest by a score of 42-7, and it has been a moment since we had witness a beat down like that to a Power Four team. This could be just the confidence builder that the Seminoles needed.
