Florida State football takes on Virginia Tech this weekend at home this weekend, in a game that many fans probably don’t care about, even though it is Homecoming and the home finale. This is a Seminoles squad that has lost five of their last six games in what has been an inconsistent showing.
The Seminoles need to find a spark to close out the 2025 season, as they have Virginia Tech, North Carolina State, and Florida in the final three matchups. The players obviously care about head football coach Mike Norvell, even though some of the fan base doesn’t.
Coach Norvell brought a 10-3 and 13–1 seasons to Tallahassee, but the 3-6, 5-7, and 2–10 records haunt him, too. This has gotten individuals to think about the 2026 campaign already when we are midway through the month of November.
