Florida State junior wide receiver Duce Robinson has been named one of 13 Biletnikoff Award Semifinalists. The Biletnikoff Award is presented annually to the nation’s top receiver. The award is named for former Florida State wide receiver Fred Biletnikoff and is presented by the Tallahassee Quarterback Club Foundation. A Seminole has never won the award.
Other semifinalists for the award are Louisville senior wide receiver Chris Bell, UConn redshirt senior wide receiver Skyler Bell, Alabama senior wide receiver Germie Bernard, Tennessee redshirt junior wide receiver Chris Brazzell, Indiana redshirt junior wide receiver Omar Cooper Jr., Texas A&M sophomore wide receiver Mario Craver, USC junior wide receiver Makai Lemon, TCU senior wide receiver Eric McAlister, Oklahoma senior wide receiver Elijah Sarratt, San Jose State redshirt sophomore wide receiver Danny Scudero, Ohio State sophomore wide receiver Jeremiah Smith, and Ohio State junior wide receiver Carnell Tate.
Robinson, from Phoenix, leads Florida State with 49 receptions, 947 yards and five touchdowns. Robinson’s 947 receiving yards and 94.7 receiving yards per game lead the ACC and are fifth nationally. In ACC games, Robinson leads the league with 748 receiving yards and 106.9 yards per game…
