Woman indicted on murder charges in connection to Leon County shooting

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WCTV) – A Leon County woman was indicted on Monday for first-degree murder.

Makayla Hooker, 26, was arrested on Oct. 7 after a shooting on Ravensview Drive left one man dead.

Arrest papers obtained by WCTV revealed that neighbors saw Hooker and her off-and-on boyfriend arguing. Hours later, court papers say the neighbors saw her grab a gun and go into the victim’s RV.

Shortly after, a gunshot was heard, and Hooker was seen running away…
