TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WCTV) – After an upset win over top seed Prairie View A&M Friday, the dream of their fourth SWAC Championship in the last five years remained alive for the Florida A&M volleyball team.
The next hurdle for the eight seed Rattlers? Alabama A&M in Saturday’s semifinals. The first set was a back and forth affair, with the Bulldogs ultimately winning 27-25, so just like in Friday’s win, the Rattlers had to battle back.
Powered by LaDonna Trantham’s 21 kills, battle back they did, taking the next three sets 25-20, 25-21, 25-17 to seal up a spot in the SWAC Championship game for the fifth straight year, and now, they look to win their fourth SWAC title…
