Award-winning children’s author and community leader Shonda Knight will host a free community launch event for her newest children’s board book, “My OmniLife: I Can Be Anything!” on Saturday, Dec. 6, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Tallahassee’s south side at Columbia Gardens, 2712 Country Club Drive.
Building on the overwhelming success of her debut book “My Omnilocks” — a celebration of confidence,culture, and ethnic hair that grew into a partnership with McDonald’s and a companion “My Omnilocks Journal” — Knight’s newest release shines the spotlight on career exploration and positive representation for children, especially boys of color.
