TALLAHASSEE — Florida State has signed two-sport standout Jasen Lopez of Miami (Fla.) Chaminade Madonna. Lopez, who committed to FSU over Miami, NC State, Georgia Tech, and West Virginia back on June 26th, is a standout wide receiver on the gridiron and a talented guard on the hardwood. He intends to play both sports at the next level.
His official visit to FSU in mid-June played the primary role in helping FSU to win his pledge, and now his signature. He spoke about that visit, before his commitment, here.
“They feel like I can be a playmaker in their offense. They can move me around, and I feel like those are the kind of people they look for, people that can do many things and be versatile,” Lopez said of football. “Playmakers, basically.”…
