On December 4, 2025, Tallahassee Police responded to a shooting at Magnolia Court Apartments. Officers found an adult female suffering from a gunshot wound to the abdomen. Despite life-saving efforts, she died after being transported to a local hospital.
Investigators quickly determined that 22-year-old Anthony Charles Holley Jr., the victim’s boyfriend, was responsible. On the day of the incident, Holley reportedly handled an AR-15–style rifle recklessly, pointing it at both the victim and a small child she was holding. The firearm discharged, striking the victim.
