Providence School won both the boys’ and girls’ Class 1A team titles at the FHSAA Cross Country Championship. The event took place at Apalachee Park in Tallahassee, Florida. This is the first time both teams have won state titles in the same year. The school previously finished as State Runner-Up in 2017 and the girls’ team won a championship in 2011.
The girls’ team scored 132 points. They finished ahead of Oak Hall and Pensacola Christian Academy. Sara Palmer and Maggie Koenig were top performers for the team. The boys’ team scored 160 points.
