The December chill continues to settle across the Panhandle this morning, coating lawns and rooftops with a silvery glaze in the coldest rural spots. Temperatures in Tallahassee start near 40°F, with light north winds and a patchy frost expected to develop again by early Wednesday.

According to the National Weather Service in Tallahassee, clear skies and calm winds overnight will allow for lows dipping into the mid-30s, particularly in low-lying and inland areas. A Patchy Frost Advisory may be needed if temperatures fall closer to freezing before sunrise Wednesday.
