Wakulla County deputies ask for public’s help identifying skeletal remains recovered in October

WAKULLA COUNTY, Fla. (WCTV) – The Wakulla County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s assistance in identifying skeletal remains recovered in October.

In a social media post just after 4 p.m. Wednesday, the sheriff’s office shared two photos of a pendant, asking the public for help with any information that could lead to the possible identification of remains recovered on October 30.

“Anyone with information pertaining to the identification of the decedent, or this pendant, is requested to contact the Wakulla County Sheriff’s Office or Detective Tiffany Spears at 850-745-7184,” WCSO wrote in its post.

The remains were found in the area of Forest Road 399-A and Curtis Mill Road and are believed to be those of a white man between the ages of 48 and 65, the sheriff’s office said…
