Tallahassee has lost nearly two dozen food gems in 2025.
The hardest blows came from longtime favorites, places that fed generations of loyal patrons who eventually turned into family, leaving them with memories and a taste of what once was. One of the year’s first closures was Shuckers Half-Shell Oyster Bar which announced its shutdown in January.
