Mike Norvell and the Florida State Seminoles announced Friday, Jan. 2, that wide receivers coach Tim Harris Jr. will also serve as the team’s offensive coordinator next season.
A former All-American track and field athlete at Miami, Harris joined FSU’s staff last year as wide receivers coach and pass game coordinator. Former Auburn coach Gus Malzahn, who worked with Harris at UCF, remains Florida State’s official offensive coordinator.
“I’m excited for this opportunity to continue to grow as a coach and help build on the positive steps we took as an offense last season,” Harris said. “I appreciate the trust Coach Norvell has shown in me, and I’m looking forward to the continued development within our wide receivers group and the offense as we push to reach FSU’s high standard for success.”…
