Tallahassee, Florida – Another cold front is set to move through the Florida Panhandle and Big Bend late this week, bringing a renewed chance of rain Friday night into Saturday before ushering in cooler, drier air for the second half of the weekend.

According to the National Weather Service in Tallahassee, a medium chance of rain, around 30 to 50 percent, is expected across much of the region as the front approaches. Rain chances appear highest from southeast Alabama into southwest Georgia, while North Florida and the eastern Big Bend are more likely to see scattered showers rather than steady rainfall…
