Tallahassee man arrested after allegedly firing nearly 60 rounds into the air on New Year’s Day

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WCTV) – A Tallahassee man was arrested for firing nearly 60 rounds into the air on New Year’s Day, according to arrest papers.

Documents show Eddric Murray was shooting a semi-automatic pistol into the air on Gaile Avenue.

Arrest papers show that when an officer arrived, Murray was found in the backyard of a home dumping what was found to be shell casings into a box.

Murray told police he “was just shooting in the air” and “celebrating the first,” according to arrest papers…
