Florida State’s 2023 recruiting class had so much potential at the wide receiver position with five-star prospect Hykeem Williams, four-star Vandrevius Jacobs, and three-star Goldie Lawrence.
Williams was supposed to be the leader of the pack, being the highest-rated of the bunch, but it took him some time to get adjusted to the collegiate game. During that offseason, various members of the media (who attended practice) discussed how dominant Vandrevius Jacobs looked and how they could see him play significant snaps early.
However, the former Vero Beach standout did not have the season that he wanted during his freshman year. As a result, in what most kids do nowadays, he ended up entering the transfer portal and enrolled at South Carolina.
