TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WCTV) – The City of Tallahassee is set to honor former Clerk of Courts Dave Lang by renaming a section of Jefferson Street downtown.
It comes after city commissioners recently approved a resolution renaming a stretch of the street “Dave Lang Street.” The street is located right next to the Leon County Courthouse, where Lang worked for over 40 years.
Lang says he’s extremely honored by the renaming.
“Both myself and my family were deeply honored because we love this community and I spent 42 years of my life in that courthouse,” Lang said, “and I grew up watching that place and all the events there, so I was extremely honored, I’ll tell you that.”…
