Wakulla Co. School Board votes to move forward with offering former school site to commissioners

CRAWFORDVILLE, Fla. (WCTV) – The Wakulla County School Board has voted to move forward with offering its former school site to the Wakulla Board of County Commissioners for youth recreational purposes, according to the school district.

The offering of the school site, known as Wakulla Education Center, was a recommendation from Superintendent Richard Myhre, WCS wrote in a press release Tuesday.

“This decision opens up a real, tangible opportunity for much-needed additional youth recreational fields in Wakulla County, provided the WBOCC accepts the property and begins making site improvements,” Superintendent Myhre said…
