TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WCTV) – Fresh off his retirement announcement, Florida State and Buccaneers legend Gene Deckerhoff was the man of the hour on Thursday at the Governor’s Club.
The long-time radio voice of the ‘Noles was honored by the Florida Sports Hall of Fame on Thursday. He sat down with his long-time broadcast partner, William Floyd, for a trip down memory lane.
His stories kept the sold-out room laughing and reflecting. Gene said he’s settling into retirement just fine.
