One of Florida State’s newest coaches has insane energy and proud to wear FSU logo

The last two years have been rough on Florida State fans, with a 7-17 record, as some players and coaches have seemingly not prioritized upholding the high standards in Tallahassee. Ultimately, we know that falls on Mike Norvell holding everyone accountable, and he’s gotten rid of some coaches over the past two years that have been subpar.

Norvell has made some solid hires in the second iteration of his staff, too: Herb Hand, Tim Harris Jr., and Tony White have improved some things. However, one of the newest hires, FSU defensive end coach Nick Williams, has hit the ground running. Williams has already landed a 2027 commitment from a blue-chip defensive end and has Florida State in the mix for some other top targets.
