‘I want to break down and cry’: Tallahassee apartment residents rush to move out days after evacuation order

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WCTV) – Tallahassee residents are scrambling to move out of an apartment complex after being told just days ago they had to be out by March 2 because of safety concerns.

Last week, residents at Terra Lake Heights Apartments were notified that they had to pack up and move out after city crews found problems, including with the fire alarm and sprinkler systems.

The Tallahassee Fire Department told WCTV that after inspections, they found safety issues in all four buildings…
