TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WCTV) – A Crawfordville man is facing federal charges after allegedly chatting online and attempting to meet someone he thought was a minor, according to the Northern District of Florida U.S. Attorney’s Office.
Anthony Lanier, Jr., 33, was indicted by a federal grand jury on one count of attempted enticement of a minor and one count of attempted transmission of obscene material to a minor, the attorney’s office announced in a press release Friday.
His indictment comes after he was arrested back in November following an undercover Tallahassee Police sting, according to his arrest documents. The 33-year-old man is accused of chatting online with an undercover officer posing as a 15-year-old, the records revealed…
