Tallahassee police arrest two in property management fraud case

TALLAHASSEE, Florida — Two individuals have been arrested in connection with a fraud investigation involving CORE Property Management, according to the Tallahassee Police Department.

The investigation began in October 2025 after police received information about financial irregularities concerning the property management company’s handling of a client’s property portfolio. Detectives reviewed banking records and discovered evidence of the commingling of client funds with CORE’s operating account. Investigators also identified multiple transactions from the company’s account used for personal expenses, including travel, cruises, gambling, beauty services, dining, and entertainment.

Search warrants were executed at the business location in Leon County and the owner’s residence in Wakulla County. As a result, 42-year-old Miranda Ard and 47-year-old Timothy Ard, both of Tallahassee, Florida, were arrested and charged with an organized scheme to defraud over $50,000 and grand theft…
