TALLAHASSEE — Buford (Ga.) three-star quarterback DJ Hunter made his way to Florida State on Saturday for a visit. He was accompanied by his parents and other family members. The 6-foot-1, 190-pound signal-caller, who was most recently at FSU for a Junior Day in February of 2025, shared how his day went from early morning to mid-afternoon with the Seminoles.
“It was nice. I had a nice visit,” Hunter said. “This coaching staff really liked me. Welcomed me as soon as I walked in the door. I liked the practice. High intensity, high energy. Everybody came with energy. It was fast paced as well. They threw a lot at them, but they reacted well to it and I liked how they did it.”
During numerous portions of the practice, he, and the other quarterbacks visiting, would stand in close proximity to that position group and observe how things operated between the likes of Ashton Daniels and Kevin Sperry with folks like quarterbacks coach Austin Tucker, assistant quarterbacks coach Jesse Stone, and others…
